Youth Team Terms & Conditions
1. You accept that you are a member of London Blitz, an Amateur organisation affiliated to the British American Football League and the British American Football Association. You will not receive payment for playing, coaching, or administering roles in this organisation. You may, in exceptional circumstances, receive re-imbursement for excessive costs incurred in the execution of your role within the organisation.
2. You do not have, or are not aware of any medical or psychological condition that would make you unfit to play the sport of American Football. You accept that you are responsible for your health and fitness, and that London Blitz cannot be held accountable for any injury sustained during properly organized practice or games.
3. You will abide by the rules of the club, in accordance with the club constitution.
4. You will obey instructions given to you by the coaching staff; this is for your safety, and to allow you to learn the game correctly.
5. You will attend training sessions as directed by the coaching staff. If you are unable to attend, you will notify your coaching staff prior to training commencement if possible.
6. You will act in a courteous manner towards all members of the club, members of staff at the stadium, and members of the public who may be watching training or games.
7. You will play for London Blitz exclusively. The only exception to this is for players and coaches involved with the National team.
8. London Blitz relies on fee payments by all members. You agree to pay those subscription and registration fees as described above. You agree to pay the game (junior) or tournament (youth) fees on or before the game or tournament. If you are unable to pay the full amount within the agreed time period, you must speak to the team Manager or Head Coach to discuss your situation. Your personal circumstances will be treated with the strictest of confidence, and not discussed with other members. Any member who leaves the club owing money or equipment will be added to the British American Football Association’s Debtors list. This prevents debtors moving to another organisation while owing money to the original club.
9. London Blitz may request that you to participate in press, media, charity functions, publicity campaigns etc. Money generated by any such events will be paid into the club bank accounts, not to individuals participating; unless by prior agreement with the committee. Gifts donated as a result of participation in the activities set out in this paragraph shall be club property, but may be given to participants if appropriate.
10. You may be subject to disciplinary actions by London Blitz, BAFANL or BAFA if you bring the club into disrepute, commit playing offences, or act in a manner which offends other members of the club. If your conduct becomes unacceptable, you may be asked to leave the club.
11. London Blitz will release you from the club if you no longer wish to be a member on the following conditions.
You are up to date with payments.
You have returned any equipment or uniform that belongs to the club.
You are not moving to a club that is excluded from recruitment under BAFANL or BAFA rules.
