When you sign you will be joining one of the UK’s top clubs. Our affiliated U19 contact team are the current BritBowl (2011,2012, 2014,2015 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023) champions. The U17 Flag teams (2011,2012 Champions and 2017, 2018 and 2019 BritBowl finalists) being one of the best for their age group. Our U11 program performed well in 2023 capturing 2 out of 5 regional tournament championships.
The club currently has teams in three age groups with players from 7 years old upwards. Several players from our senior and Junior contact teams play for England , Great Britain, Europe, the US and NFL.
The London Blitz, based in the heart of North London at Finsbury Park Stadium, has been a presence in the London sporting scene and British American Football since 1984.
The fundamental basis for our program is the view that coaches are teachers and role models of the standards we expect from the student participants. Participation is open to all young adults who make a serious commitment to their team.
Pricing & Registration Details
The London Blitz aims to make Flag Football accessible to all. In doing so we have kept fees for the year January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 set at £40. Your annual fee helps to cover the cost of insurance for the club and is important to be paid in advance. This fee allows your participation in team training events. £15 per Tournament Fee shall also apply - and paid on or before tournament dates. This flexibility shall allow our athletes to only go out of pocket for tournaments they actually attend. In 2023 the Blitz participated in 5 regional tournaments. Tournaments take place between April & July each season.

The London Blitz has 3 Youth Age Groups which align to the school year system:
U11 - School years 5 & 6
U14 - School years 7, 8 and 9
U17 - School years 10, & 11

Taster Sessions
We appreciate that you may want to get to know the club and the sport before committing for the year. To encourage this we offer athletes to give Flag Football a try for £2 per session. We allow athletes to train for a maximum 3 sessions at this price ahead of confirming their interest in joining the club. To ensure we are able to support new players during sessions we do limit the number of taster participants at each training session.
